Chaipranin's first brush with sculptures came about in a most unexpected manner. Coming home from work one day, he was immediately attracted to a sculpture in his young son's hand. Its aesthetic beauty staggered him. Questioning his son on the sculpture only brought on waves of inexplicable feelings of jealousy.
He has worked in the Thai advertising industry for more than twenty years. Much of his work is centric upon the art of expression. However, advertising is about seeking a positive response from the consumer, towards a commercial object or service. It is presented on a two-dimensional platform, which is not always effective in conveying emotions.
When he discovered sculpturing, he was astounded by its tangibility and the sincerity of the artist behind it. Through it, he found the true medium to express his thoughts and feelings.
