The Chinese Zodiac Series is a collection comprising of the 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac starting from the Rat, or '鼠 SHU', to the Pig, or '猪 ZHU'. It is created in collaboration with Singaporean artist, Chua Boon Kee. Rather than a sculpture of the animal itself, this Series is a three-dimensional representation of its Chinese character.

Each character is first written in an abstract Chinese calligraphic style, before being transformed into a sculpture. In this way, rather than being presented on paper in black ink, the Chinese characters are now 'brought to life'.
